By renting equipment from Fotokrome Rentals, the renter agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all rentals unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1. Who we are

Fotokrome Rentals ("Fotokrome", "we", "us") is a camera and film equipment rental service operating out of Accra (Haatso 21) and Kumasi (KSi Senior High), Ghana.

Rental Period & Returns

i) Rental period starts at time of pickup and ends at time of return.

ii) Late returns attract additional charges.

iii) Early returns do not qualify for refunds.

iv) Rentals are daily, not 24 hours. meaning you can get upto 27 hours with our equipment.

v) Pickup and return times are during the day and evening .[ from 7am to 10:30pm]

vi) If a faulty and unusable item is rented, must be returned within 2 hours max of renting otherwise, a partial refund will be issued.

vii) All equipment after inspection by Rentor, must be tested and double checked by Rentee before pickup.

3. Your responsibilities

• Equipment must be returned by the agreed date and time. Late returns incur an additional day's rental.
• You are responsible for loss, theft, or damage while the equipment is in your possession. See our security deposit policy for how assessments work.
• Operate equipment within manufacturer guidelines. Do not expose gear to rain, salt water, or extreme temperatures.

4. Equipment Use

i) Equipment rented by renter is expected to be used by them but if given to a third party, they are still responsible for them.

ii) Equipment must be used responsibly and for lawful purposes only.

iii) Equipment must not be opened, modified, or repaired without permission.

iv) If a faulty equipment is missed during inspection and rentee identifies it, they should report it immediately.

5. Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.

7. Reschedule

i) All items rented and picked up by rentee cannot be rescheduled after 2 hours.

ii) A one time free reschedule is allowed in some situations.

iii) After a free reschedule, one last reschedule can be initiated at a 40% fee of the total cost of rental for that item(s) provided item(s) is/are available on the decided date.

iv) Reschedule agreement does not apply after a month.

8. Liability

Fotokrome is not liable for any loss of data, income, or business resulting from equipment use or failure

Renter assumes full responsibility during the rental period.

9.Travelling Policy

i) A half day charge ( 50% of the total rental per day) is allowed if the client is travelling out of Accra or Kumasi so rentee can pick up earlier than scheduled before the travel day.

ii) Travel policy applies for bookings that are two days and above.

iii) Travel policy applies to only pickup day not the day of return
